Do I Trust You?
Trust suddenly is in the news. Perhaps it’s the never-ending news about hacks, attacks and data breaches, or the fact that all of us now are using, interacting with, wearing and otherwise connected to the Internet with devices, networks and cloud services that likely have little or no security - or for which security has been a low-priority item.
Whatever the case, the classic “can I trust you’ question is one that is likely to be front and center at the upcoming RSA Conference 2015. And, TCG once again will be there on hand in the Monday association seminar session to help answer that question, and to provide a variety of viewpoints and discussions around trust, its implementation and application.
The Monday, April 20 session will be 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Moscone West, Rooms 2002/2006. In addition to apanel on the IoT and embedded systems, experts also look once again at trust itself and its application.
Joining moderator Paul Roberts of SecurityLedger.com will be David Bossio, Microsoft, to talk about how Windows uses trust, its role in current client and server versions, and thoughts about future expectations and usage for the TPMP and trust. A day in the life of an enterprise customer with a nod the needs of the environment will be addressed by Amy Nelson of Dell, who works with both the TCG on developing future standards but also with enterprise users who need security solutions.
Stay tuned for updates and register soon, as this TCG session fills up fast! More here.
