The Trusted Computing Group (TCG) is a global, vendor-neutral nonprofit that develops open standards for hardware-rooted trust. By joining TCG, members collaborate with industry leaders to help define the future of secure computing. Pick the level that fits your organisation and use the join button on that plan. It takes you to our contact form, where the TCG Administration team picks up your request and walks you through the agreement and the application process.
It depends on how much influence you want over the specifications. Adopter gives you access to published specs, certification programs and Plugfests. Associate adds voting rights and Work Group participation in Solution Work Groups. Contributor extends that to every Work Group, plus the right to nominate a representative as Contributor Advisor to the Board.
Yes. Companies with fewer than 100 employees join as Small Adopter at $2,500 per year. The rights are identical to Adopter, only the fee differs.
Yes, through the Industry Liaison Program. It is a full non-voting membership open to academic institutions, standards bodies, government agencies and special interest groups, with no annual fee. Participants take part in Work Groups and help TCG stay current with outside research and concerns.
There is no limit. Whichever level you join at, you can involve as many participants as you like across Work Groups and committees.
TCG operates a reasonable and non-discriminatory licensing policy between members. RAND licensing benefits and obligations apply across the whole membership, at every level.
