Our Core Technologies & Standards

View all Technologies

Block Integrated Trust (BIT)

Brings trusted computing principles to block-level storage, enabling integrity, attestation, and protection of data blocks at the device layer.

Cyber Resilient Technologies (CyRes)

TCG's cyber-resilience technology for protecting persistent code, detecting unexpected states, and recovering platforms to a known trusted state.

Device Identifier Composition Engine (DICE)

Device Identifier Composition Engine establishes a unique cryptographic identity for resource-constrained devices and IoT systems with minimal hardware.

Platform Certificates

TCG's provenance artifacts asserting Roots of Trust, Trusted Building Blocks, and component composition for supply-chain assurance and attestation appraisal.

Reference Integrity Manifest (RIM)

Signed, machine-readable reference measurements used to verify a device boots and runs in its expected, trusted state.

Storage Security

TCG's architecture for interoperable security on trusted storage devices: self-encrypting drives, access control, locking, and Opal, Ruby, and Opalite classes.

TPM Software Stack (TSS)

A consistent software interface that lets applications and operating systems interact with TPM hardware across vendors, architectures, and platforms.

Trusted Platform Module (TPM)

Hardware-based root of trust that securely generates and stores cryptographic keys, attesting to the integrity of the platform it runs on.

IoT Evolution Expo 2016

Join TCG and members companies Cisco and Wibu Systems who will speak and demonstrate applications of trusted computing to secure Internet of Things and embedded systems and participate in a security issues panel.

Stacy Cannady, Cisco Systems and TCG Member, will present the following 2 topics:

Remote Monitoring and Management Tuesday, July 12, 3:00pm IOTS-02, Room Forum 22

Controlling devices remotely is often talked about without discussing security. However maintaining access to systems creates opportunities for management policies to be enacted and enforced. This panel discusses how remote monitoring and management systems impact security solutions.

The Standards and IoT Strategy Wednesday, July 12, 12:15pm IOTT-06, Room Forum 4

IoT supports so many markets that the role of standards is very limited today. The goal of providing common capabilities that can be used with sensors in vertical markets drives much of the standards work in these markets. Attend this session and hear how standards bodies find common ground.

Exhibit Hours: Tuesday July 12th: 5:00pm - 7:00pm Wednesday July 13th: 12:00pm – 5:00pm Thursday July 14th: 11:00am – 2:00pm
