Security Key Topic at August Flash Memory Summit
Flash memory’s rapid growth in consumer and enterprise applications means only one thing: vendors and users better be able to secure all that data now stored in the fast, light and seemingly ubiquitous drives that now are our collective electronic filing systems.
This year’s Flash Memory Summit, August 5-7 at the Santa Clara Convention Center has grown right along with its namesake technology. Once a gathering of a handful of vendors, this summit now sprawls across the week with sessions touching standards, architectures, enterprise and data center, testing, integration and more.Keynotes from the likes of Samsung, Alibaba, SanDisk, Dell, IBM and Marvell will look at the latest issues and technologies.
Security is now a full track on Tuesday, August 5. Watch for details on panels and talks including the role of SEDs, or self-encrypting drives.
