PORTLAND, Ore., May 16, 2016 – Trusted Computing Group (TCG) today announced that Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, has joined its board to help drive international specifications and standards for more secure computing.
Huawei participates in a number of TCG work groups. The company joins board members Advanced Micro Devices; Cisco Systems, Inc.; Fujitsu Limited; Hewlett Packard Enterprise; HP, Inc.; IBM; Infineon Technologies AG; Intel Corporation; Juniper Networks; Lenovo Holdings Ltd.; and Microsoft with elected advisors from Dell and Google.

Other specifications include Trusted Network Communications for network security and for self-encrypting drives that enable always-on encryption of data in solid state, hard disk and enterprise drives.\
This year, American Express, CoreOS, Inc., VIA Alliance Semiconductor, WIBU-Systems, Unigen DataStorage Corporation, and TaoBao China Software Co., Ltd. have joined the group. In 2015, TCG added 11 new members including General Electric and VeriSign. A completed list members can be seen here.
