Demonstrate that your storage product meets TCG requirements for functional compliance and security through a clear certification process.

Certification is exclusive to TCG members, so membership is where every certification begins. Join TCG to unlock the program, compliance tools and technical resources.
Become a memberPrepare your storage device
Review the TCG Storage Opal Family Test Cases Specification and confirm your implementation covers the Security Subsystem Class you are targeting.
Complete compliance testing
Unlike other programs, compliance is approved by a TCG-approved Test House using a TCG-approved Test Suite, not by self-test.
Complete security evaluation
Obtain Common Criteria certification based on the Full Disk Encryption Encryption Engine collaborative Protection Profile.
Submit and get certified
Once compliance and security evaluation are both approved, your product joins the Certified Products List.
