Viva La France – TCG Heads to Chip-to-Cloud Security Forum with Keynote, Presentations and Panels Sept. 24-26

Date Published: August, 01, 2014

In recent years, security has become less of a niche topic and much more horizontal across all aspects of computing. In a demonstration of that trend, this year’s Chip-to-Cloud Security Forum intelligently has co-located with other events like M2M Innovation, World e-ID Congress, NFC World Congress and more. The Forum is described as “advances in securing embedded, mobile and cloud services ecosystems” with  a range of speakers across cloud computing, mobile security and virtualization.

TCG and Infineon’s Joerg Borchert will keynote the plenary with other speakers including  F-Secure, IBM Research and EIT ICT Labs.

Elsewhere in the program, TCG speakers from around the world will address other topics:

– Security Automation Tips, Tricks and Techniques, by Henk Birkholz, Fraunhofer SIT

– Trust in the Cloud, Stacy Cannady, Cisco Systems

– Who Can You Trust in the Internet of Things?, Stacy Cannady, Cisco Systems

Borchert, Nicolai Kuntze of Fraunhofer SIT and Cannady will address “The Role of Trust in Today and Tomorrow’s Cybersecurity” in a panel session. Janne Uusilehto, Microsoft, will talk about “Virtualization and Risks: The Impact of Virtualization Technologies on Mobile Transactions” in a panel.

In the exhibit area, TCG members will demonstrate various applications of trusted computing.
