This week, Trusted Computing Group published a new case study highlighting the role of network security and the group's Trusted Network Connect specifications in a large, global professional services firm.
This large consulting firm, with many separate offices, deals with security issues related to remote access, visitor access and file exchanges. By standardizing technologies for remote access and using the TNC specifications for health-checking, the company can be sure that systems trying to access its network meet specific policies. The use of standardized technology such as TNC enabled the firm to leverage interoperability and scalability for adding additional capabilities, including coordination of security data.
