Anyone Using Trusted Computing? Let’s Ask Dell, Dendreon, General Dynamics, National Security Agency, PricewaterhouseCoopers and others at RSA Conference 2011!
In a few weeks, security experts and vendors will flood into Moscone Center for RSA Conference 2011 to hear the latest developments to prevent the growing flood of attacks, malware and other nefarious acts targeting enterprises. Trusted Computing Group once again will be on hand to talk about one of the core technologies available to protect not only systems but networks, drives and the data center.
In the pre-conference session Monday, Feb. 14, TCG and users - yes, real enterprises - will talk frankly with leading industry analysts about their security issues and the role of Trusted Computing. The session will get started at 11 a.m. and run until 3 p.m. Kicking it off, Karl Wagner of PricewaterhouseCoopers will deliver the keynote, "Leveraging TPM for Low Cost, Strong Authentication at PwC", focusing on his organization's need for protecting critical data.
The first panel session, led by Eric Ogren of the Ogren Group, will discuss network security. "Deployment Models for Your Future Network Security Solutions" will address current and future network security issues and how standards are being deployed. On hand to address this with Ogren will be Michael Lindskov of CUNA Mutual and Paul Bartock of the National Security Agency.
Next, Roger Kay, Endpoint Technologies, will lead a provocative session, "Eliminating Risk and Reducing Costs with the TPM." He will be joined by Wagner, Jeremy Wyant, of General Dynamics, PwC's Boudewijn Kiljan and Brian Berger, Wave Systems.
In the final panel session, Aberdeen Group's Derek Brink will moderate discussion about the pros and cons of self-encrypting drives in the session "Faster, Lower Costs and High Assurance - the Role of Encrypted Hard Drives." Stan Potter of the NSA, Jeff Kam of Dendreon and David Bowers of Dell will hash out that topic.
Between panels, attendees can see demonstrations of all of the Trusted Computing technologies discussed.
